
Bio
Ben is a Liebig Fellow and Junior Group leader at the University of Ulm in the Institute of Organic Chemistry I. He is from the South of England and obtained his MChem degree from the University of Durham with an industrial placement year at GSK Stevenage. He completed his PhD with Professor David Leigh FRS at the University of Manchester focussing on the design and analysis of autonomous catalysis-driven molecular motors. Subsequently, Ben moved to the University of Padua, Italy as a postdoc with Professor Leonard Prins to work on nonequilibrium self-assembling systems.
