Bio
Marie grew up near Moravský Krumlov, Czech Republic. She began her academic journey at Masaryk University in Brno, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and later her Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry. During her time in Brno, Marie joined the group of Prof. Šindelář, where she focused on the preparation of bambusurils bearing chromophoric groups and their supramolecular characterization. Marie joined the Delius group in November 2024 with the aim of investigating the intriguing chemistry of all-cis fluorinated cyclohexenes. Outside the lab, she enjoys attending music festivals and concerts, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with her family and friends.
