Bio
Markus was born in Rottenburg a.N. near Tübingen. He studies chemistry since 2019 at the University of Ulm and did his bachelor’s thesis in the Delius group working on strained porphyrinylene nanohoops. In his master’s thesis he continues in the field of macrocycles, attempting the synthesis of a BINOL catenane. Outside of the lab he enjoys spending time with friends, cooking and traveling.
