Bio
Vivek is from Pune, Maharashtra, India. He completed his master’s (organic chemistry) in 2013 from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India. From 2013 to 2015, he was a project assistant in Dr. C. V. Ramana’s group at the CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL) in Pune. In 2021, he was awarded a PhD in Chemical Science under the guidance of Dr. Sukumaran Santhosh Babu from CSIR-NCL. His thesis mainly focused on developing processable 2D polymers using solvent-free organic liquids. From 2021 to 2023, he held a postdoctoral position in the Bonifazi group at the University of Vienna (Vienna, Austria). In Bonifazi’s group, he was a part of the DECOCHROM project and also worked on BN-doped material. In 2024, he joined the Delius group at Ulm University as a postdoc and will actively participate in the QuE MRI project.
