Bio
Yaseen was born and raised in Palos Hills, Illinois and is currently studying for his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He joined the Isomura lab in 2025 at UIUC, focusing on small molecule synthesis and organo-catalysis.
Yaseen was accepted as a RISE intern with the Delius Lab as a research assistant, where he will be working on Supramolecular Nanohoop synthesis. Outside the lab, Yaseen enjoys swimming, reading, and playing video games.
